    Health Decisions is a specialty CRO focused on conducting trials to improve healthcare outcomes to all women globally.  Our unique focus has led to a significant increase of growth. We are seeking a Business Development Associate who will be responsible for lead generation by proactively prospecting and qualifying targeted leads by telephone and email.  The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in fostering relationships with the goal of converting leads to new sales opportunities.


    Inside Sales

    • Research, identify, and qualify new business opportunities for the Business Development team
    • Initate initial client engagement, including ensuring client-readiness of materials for client meetings including briefing documents and call presentation development; develops call agenda and hosts prep sessions with internal teams in advance of client engagement 
    • Attend and/or internal Business Development meetings to discuss/present new opportunities
    • Effectively transfer accounts and client information to Business Development Directors (Field Sales) and operational teams to gather company/staff experience for use in outreach materials
    • Craft outreach materials (e.g., pitches, eBlast, capabilities presentations) in concert with Marketing/Communications to ensure consistent messaging
    • Provide general intelligence on key competitors and the sales market to inform sales strategy
    • Maintain frequent contact with leads to grow and expand business relationships by leveraging Social Selling techniques/tools and facilitating outreach across a variety of channels (conference/industry meeting attendance, social media, email, phone)
    • Address inbound client requests (calls, emails), qualify leads and, if appropriate, grow client relationships, including facilitating introductions with additional Health Decisions team members
    • In close collaboration with Field Sales, leads prospect outreach for meetings and trade shows by establishing contacts, coordinating mailing lists, confirming and attending onsite client meetings, developing schedules and assignments
    • Support Marketing/Communications efforts to create client interest for HD services, webinars/events and industry meetings
    • Achieve quarterly and annual lead generation goals as outlined in sales incentive comp plan


    • Support Logistics of client visits
    • Provide weekly Inside Sales activity report to Business Development and Executive teams
    • Maintain records of correspondence and account plans/status in Salesforce automation tool and supports programming of the Salesforce system
    • Provide back-up to Executive Assistant for Sales and Marketing related administrative tasks


    The selected candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree and have a minimum one year in lead generation/sales experience. (CRO experience will be a plus).  Experience with Salesforce/Pardot (or other CRM tools) including direct email campaigns and report generation required. Must be a self-starter and highly motivated capable of balancing multiple tasks and deadlines.  Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability in discussing technical concepts via phone.  Must be dedicated to stay abreast of scientific, regulatory market developments in the pharmaceutical, diagnostic and device development industries.
